Delivery Information?
Our courier operates overnight for your next day delivery. Fresh seafood and meat ordered by 10:00am can be delivered to your door next day – home delivery within 24 hours across the UK. Please note: For next day delivery, we must receive your order by 10:00am.
The way we pack our seafood and meat, they will stay cold for up-to 72 hours. So in the event of a courier delay in your delivery, we are confident your order will still be cold. However if you have any concerns please let us know.
If you are not going to be at home to receive your delivery, please leave special delivery instructions for the delivery driver by inputting your requirements in the “Delivery Instruction” box during the checkout process.
The courier company will also send you SMS/Email messages confirming your tracking details and expected delivery times. These also give you an opportunity to choose for your delivery to be put in a “safe place”, or delivered to a neighbour if you are not available.
Please be aware that due to the nature of the delivery, the courier company will not attempt a second delivery the following day and the order will be returned to their depot for disposal.
We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries that have not been signed for, or for orders that have to be re-delivered.
Your seafood and meat are bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All your fish and meat will be packed and sealed in plastic bags. The use by dates are normally 4 days and suggested frozen shelf life is around 6 months.
Once your fish and meat has been packaged we place it into a thermo insulated Polystyrene box/insulated cardboard box. The fish and meat is surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
We deliver seafood and meats to all UK postal codes.
To have your parcel delivered to a different address from your billing address, please provide an alternative UK postal delivery address when checking out.
Please note, that due to security and fraud prevention you cannot checkout as a guest – you will need to create a free account with us.
The minimum order value for free delivery is £80.00
If purchases are cancelled by the customer for any reason before the dispatch, any monies paid in relation to those purchases excluding the payment processing fees (2%+30p) will be refunded. The payment processing charges will not apply for direct bank transfers.
Orders will not be refunded if cancelled after the order is dispatched.
Refunds will only be made via the credit/debit card used for the original transaction. Refunds will have post and packing charges deducted. Where an order qualified for free post and packing, we will deduct our post and packing costs from the refund. We reserve the right to deduct any other charges incurred by us such as credit card transaction fees, picking/packing costs, restocking costs, packaging material and return postage fees.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all graphical representations and descriptions of Goods available from Cambridge Fresh correspond to the actual Goods, Cambridge Fresh is not responsible for any variations from these descriptions. This does not exclude our liability for mistakes due to negligence on our part and refers only to variations of the correct Goods, not different Goods altogether.
All pricing information on the Web Site is correct at the time of going online. Cambridge Fresh reserves the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary. All pricing information is reviewed and updated as and when required.

Backorders in the unlikely event that an item you ordered is not in stock we reserve the right to a) automatically refund the item or, b) if the item(s) represent a major part of your order, we would email you to advise you of the situation, with potential options, and request your advice on how you would like to proceed.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect order or issues with product quality, contact customer service within 24 hours for a resolution. Picture evidences are needed to support the claim. We cannot refund unless evidences are provided and if reported after 24hrs.
Please note that our products may contain bones. While we take care to remove as many bones as possible, some may remain. Please exercise caution when consuming.
Extra Weight Charges:
- We strive to provide the exact weight of the products ordered. However, due to the nature of fresh fish and meat, there may be slight variations in weight.
- If the delivered product exceeds the ordered weight by more than 5%, you will be notified and charged for the additional weight.
- The extra charge will be calculated based on the per-unit weight price of the product.
Slicing and Preparation:

- We offer slicing and preparation services for few fish types/meat for your convenience. Please specify your preferences at the time of ordering in the “Order Notes” field in the checkout page.
- While we strive to meet your slicing requests accurately, there may be slight variations based on the nature of the product.
- If no slicing requirements are mentioned, we will slice according to our own specifications.
We’re pleased to work with an established and trusted delivery partner (APC) to ensure the delivery of your seafood and fresh meat are quick, efficient and reliable.
We offer free standard delivery on orders over £80. For orders below this amount, a delivery fee of £9.99 will apply.
You can place the order any day during the week. We will deliver your order from Tuesday to Friday. Any orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.

Yes, all our products are suitable for freezing. Ensure they are stored in airtight containers or freezer bags to maintain quality.
Our customer service team is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. Outside these hours we will aim to reply via email.
Yes, we offer custom cutting and preparation services. Please add the details to “Order notes” section in the checkout page or contact us in advance to arrange this.
